Inexpensive Gas boiler parts worth replacing

    Getting a 7yr old vokera gas boiler serviced in the summer, (its been serviced
    regulary) but what inexpensive parts if any are worth replacing so as to try and ensure a breakdown winter or at least improve my chances, oap here.


    I know nowt about this but one part that seems to me that would be worth replacing is the ignition solenoid.


    Am I right and are there any other bits that might be worth doing.


    my rgii will be doing the job but I thought I would ask here first.
