    hi all,
is it possible to retrofit a cleaning eye to a 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe coming from a kitchen sink, as in, using a hole saw to cut a hole in the pipe and then glueing on an access head? something like a boss joint for a 4" soil pipe?

also can you use the rods for cleaning 4" sewage pipes to clean 1 1/2" pipe, obviously using the correct size plunger head, or would those rods be too rigid and big?

    thanks all.

those rods will only work on really straight runs. a wire snake would be better. or a small dia jetter for the power washer
I don't see why you cant cut a t in half and solvent weld it on .
I don't think that's the best way to do it . there must be an issue with the falls or a dish in the pipe for it to keep blocking.
I would take off the pipe and install the rodding eye properly.

have you a pic of the set up

Nah to be honest it’s not blocking up or anything I’m just thinking from a Maintainence point of view and that it would be a handy thing to do to install a strap on boss.

im a great believer in them too. I always fit them . better have and not need than need and not have. .
you can always try to glue one on.
