Van cvrt

Looking for some solid advice on this. Thinking of buying a van off a dealer, perfect 131 van with a warranty, and well priced. Only thing it's no test since Jan 20. So where does this leave me on the road, can I drive it or not, and will the cvrt exemption apply to this vehicle even though it's out since before the covid-19 restrictions began

Extension won’t apply by the looks of it but you can tax it I think. Legally You still need A cvrt to be on the road. Who knows what exceptions they’ll make to certs that are recently expired. Mine expired at the end of Feb. I’m in the same boat.
Is the dealer guaranteeing that the van will pass the test.

Yeah hes reckons it's in good shape and obviously the warranty gives me some peace of mind for the first 3 months. It's just if I was stopped in between with all these checkpoints I suppose is the real issue going by your link

Did you buy the van. Having a cvrt on my van today as the old test had expired pre March 28th. So you should be able to do one too.
