    Hello.

With all this extra time now, I was looking at finally getting a DA polisher. From doing a bit of research the most commonly recommended one for beginners is the Das 6 pro.

I normally buy my detailing supplies from Cleanyourcar UK but they seem to be out of stock of them.
Can anyone recommend a place to buy one or recommend another beginners DA polisher to buy.

Also, would it be advisable to purchase a smaller backing plate(3.5inch) aswell to do the more intricate areas?

    Thanks.

Get a 3" backing plate and pads to match as well.

Thanks a million for that. Have been trying to find a site selling it all day. Do you know if the liquid elements pads are any good? I'm not familiar with their system.

I have no experience of those pads,
But just had a look now and that kit also now seems unavailable.:(

That's because I ordered it!! Not sure about the pads but the polisher and menzerna kit seems to be very good value. Can always pick up some hexlogic pads elsewhere. Thanks for your help.

Start with the softest pad and least cut polish and see how you go.
Those pads can't be bad to be honest.
