Hi all planning on picking up one of these watches as a gift for my sister, she uses a pixel (not sure which one) and have been trying to figure which watch would be best. I’ve read best experience and features would be to pair a wear os device with a pixel or an active 2 with a Samsung. Also google pay on the fossil was gonna make me pull the trigger on that one but I saw a thread below that seemed to suggest this doesn’t work in Ireland, is this true? I know she uses google pay on her phone a lot so thought having it on the watch could be a great feature

Google Pay on Wear OS is not supported in Ireland.

It depends what you want really, Galaxy Active is more a fitness tracker than full smart watch.

The Gen 5 is nice but all Wear OS watches will generally only give a day or two of battery. If you want tight Google integration with Assistant and apps etc... then the Gen 5 is arguably the best Wear OS watch out there.
