Hi guys , I really have no clue when it comes to bottom brackets so this may sound stupid to some people. I have a Trek 1000 aluminium that has Shimano BBR60 English thread bottom bracket. I want to put an 11 speed Campagnolo Chorus groupset on it including the Chorus crank which has an Ultra Torque bottom bracket with it.…

Hi guys ,

I really have no clue when it comes to bottom brackets so this may sound stupid to some people.

I have a Trek 1000 aluminium that has Shimano BBR60 English thread bottom bracket. I want to put an 11 speed Campagnolo Chorus groupset on it including the Chorus crank which has an Ultra Torque bottom bracket with it.

Is it a straight swap? What complications am i going to run into?

Straight swap, remove the Shimano cups, screw in the Campag ones. Same tool will do both.
