    Long Live Lidl Fruit

Since Lidl came to town I've eaten :pac: :pac: :pac: more fruit and a greater variety of same at lower prices than previously available.
Hate wasting food ( & money! ), and love a good apple, but these Italian Braeburn are tasteless, big useless balls of sawdust.

Why bin them though? You could use them for loads of recipes.
    Tarts, cake, applesauce, jelly, smoothies....

    Yur 1/2 right.:P:P
    I will smoothize dem.
But I normally get by with leeser priced temptations, and was so looking forward to a firm biting tasty, hardish apple. These are the Italian equivalent of those red balls of water   that the Dutch refer to as Tomatoes
