Looking for a phone with best camera, sub 500 euro? Any recommendations!

Main requirements

1. Great camera

4. Gets latest Android updates

Currently have OP5

Pixel 4A which is soon to be released.

pixel 3a is a great bargain if you can pick up one cheap

not lightening fast compared to the top-end cpus but it will run fine and the camera takes great shots.

has headphone jack and quickest updates until mid-2022

several new ones on adverts from people that bought them on the vodafone deal (now expired)

pixel phones sold here are all unlocked

There may not be much between them camera wise but the P30pro is far superior otherwise .

OP5 similar to 3a on cpu in real-world OP5 probably a bit faster.

4a will be faster than OP5

dxomark not a trustworthy source though.....I would say final score only depends of amount of money received from Xiaomi, Huawei etc.

No reviewer is a trustworthy source, every reviewer is unintentionally biased in some way.

agreed , but dxomark just beyond the pale, couldn’t forget they gave Xioami Mi9 highest score for video ( phone without optical image stabilisation and awful sound recording ) another day.

Well that's because they chose to compares cameras at their default settings (which I agree is a bit silly), and I believe that the Mi 9 was one of if not the first smartphone to record video in 4K by default.

So I wouldn't say DxOMark isn't trustworthy, you just have to be aware of how they go about obtaining their scores and make your own judgements from there.

that's a budget segment phone and of no relevance at all really to the mi note 10.

I attempted to buy this last night. It took aaaages to go through each stage of the checkout. I opted to use paypal. I didn't get any order number at the end and I didn't get an email confirming an order. I've checked my paypal account this morning and there is no transaction showing.

I looked up eglobal on facebook and there is nothing but complaints.

I suppose if the offer looks too good then it probably is.

The search goes on for a new phone.

Google reviews on both mi note 10 / pro as well , camera processing not lightning but super amoled ,large curved screen ,quick charge,jack,super reliable,and fast enough

There's no such thing as "best camera". There's 4 or 5 great cameras and some will perform better in different situations. Some will be better in natural light, some better indoors, some better low light, some faster focusing. Then it's subjective, you can see a photo of a building taken with 4 different cameras and 4 people will pick a different one that they like better.
I'd love a website that does a blind test of the same photos with different cameras where you rate photos just to see what I'd pick because it's easy to be biased even if we tell ourselves we aren't

It won't.

Fingerprint is fast and reliable on 3a so I don't see the issue tbh

Remember it as an easy to do a transaction.

Have bought several items from them and all delivered within 2 weeks from payment

Can be more effective to create an account first then buy sometimes on sites

How do you know for sure? Not a fan of the finger sensor on the back of the phone.

pixel 4 had face unlock, no fingerprint scanner so...
