Convert FCU to plug socket

Hi all,

I recently moved into a house with under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. The lights use these T8 fluorescent lightbulbs:

These bulbs are really hard to find and expensive too, so I want to replace the lighting with this LED strip:

The only problem is that the lighting is wired to a fcu that also supplies our microwave.

I'd like to replace the FCU with a double socket (one for the microwave and one for the led strip), but have zero experience with electrics.

Is this a project I could attempt myself or should I call an electrician?

It’s not a difficult task if you know what you are doing. However it sounds like you would be best off getting a professional to do this.
