Looking for recommendations for a free to air satellite box that we can view youtube on as well. This is for an old type tube tv with only scart connectivity

Others will likely recommend something more recent but I have an Ariva 150 Combo that fits that bill. It has scart as well as hdmi connections. And network connectivity, wired rather than wireless. The manual lists YouTube though I’ve never used it for net access.

There is a thread on here about it from a few years back.

I have an arriva 252 combo but all I get is no data when youtube is loaded. I have updated the firmware and still the same. I then purchased this Borc unit which does say youtube is accessible (I know it is a budget basic model but it does have wifi)

Getting no data message when youtube is loaded. Only options in settings are region and resolution.
    Any ideas would be welcome

Would surely be worth looking into an LCD TV with tuner and YouTube built in?

Probably but I needed it for an old crt tv which would be more child proof and able to take a knock or two ! The borc model is best avoided some channels dont even have audio. Anyway its off to the recycling centre tomorrow, best place for it.

I believe openATV might support Youtube possibly even Youtube TV.
