    Hi,

I have lost the RTE and TV3 channels on my Amiko Box.

When I select the channel it just says no signal!!!

Can some one tell me how I can get the channels back

    Thanks

    Daragh

You will most likely need to retune your box assuming the aerial is still up and has not fallen off the roof
You would need to post exactly what amiko box you have and what area ( not too specific ) you live
before someone can offer advice on retuning

That box is an combo receiver
it can view Saorview and satellite through the ports on the rear

Can you have a look at the cables going in to the rear
is there a cable plugged into the port marked RF in or is there only a cable into LNB in

Are you in an apartment receiving through some kind of communal set up ? by any chance

Moved, after some consideration, to terrestrial, which is likely to be where you were receiving RTÉ and VMTV from given the only satellite source for the latter is Sky.

Seems to be an aerial cable in there anyway. When did you lose the Irish channels? (I assume you viewed them inside the last 2 months.)

For some reason, unknown to me, the image will not display here.
The tab is just spinning its wheels!

Ah, now it stopped and I have a little white spec in the middle of a black tab :D:D

Ignore my difficulties .... others can see it apparently. ;)

Right, well that would be long before any frequency changes were concluded.

The aerial cable is the leftmost connection, when viewed from the back of the box: I assume it leads into the wall, or maybe a 'splitter' type thing, & isn't just lying there disconnected?
