QBM in Baldoyle have the Firestone EDPM, used it for a few years and it's great stuff. Really easy to apply and shape, they have everything you need. Its probably a little more expensive than the stuff you linked though.

I went to these guys today - really not happy at all.

He intially quoted me "about 500" - so I didnt order from the UK and sort of commited to going local.

The quote then changed to closer to 500 when I formally asked.

They "forgot" to quote me for the water based adhesive - which turned out to be 120 +vat - despite it being 76gbp in uk

They were on a whole way more expensive than it would have worked out buying it from the UK - even with paying 120 shipping.

My own fault I know - as much as I like to buy local, when you are clearly being ripped off there is no excuse.

For anyone else looking for this use these guys and suck up the shipping -

now it turns out they gave me the wrong bits and their system really should have some sort of tape put round the edges - coz of the type of trims they supply.

    not happy.

"Reheating" the question - since most of UK suppliers have stopped shipping to Ireland. Does anybody know any reliable and non BS place to order a proper EPDM kit in Ireland?

I have had some luck with getting building materials shipped from Germany, but you have to trawl through the websites checking shipping as many do not deliver to Ireland. Firestone are hq'd in Belgium.

You could call a nordie roofing company and ask if they will supply (you'd need to collect though, I assume, to avoid double vat?), e.g. https://www.belfastflatroofing.co.uk/

@Lumen - thanks! And yes, I've started looking through some German providers. I've previously (2019) ordered EPDM from Rubber4Roofs in UK - they have this cool kit calculator online. Like everyone else, they are now avoiding Ireland. So your suggestion to try a nordie company evolved into me contacting them and asking if they can deliver to an address in Northen Ireland. Seems like it's ok for them, so I'll find someone there to recive it for me and will take a weekend drive. Thanks a lot for "inspiration" :).

I'm also looking for some EPDM materials for a home project. This site in Holland looks promising the asked me to send a list via email first to check if their delivery company can do it. I am not on boards long enough to post links but the site is roof sale.nl remove the spaces.

Any chance you could let me know who did the shipping for you? None of the English companies I contacted provide shipping to Ireland any more. I contacted 18 (yes 18!) freight forwarders in Ireland and UK, and none of them will do that job. Irish companies are charging almost double for EPDM solution, so even with the shipping it would be a considerable saving if could get from the UK.

Not anymore. Import fees Vat etc all added on. This was all prebrexit. You may be best placed looking to the continent and doing the Maths on it.

Anyone having gone through this in 2023 or 2022 - what are the best options on the market these days?

Has anyone found any companies from Europe that do ship here?
