Wiring trailer lights Mazda 5

    Any one wire one of these, fited a hitch to 2010 mazda 5 just have to wire it up now. I don't think I can get a harness for it. I have wired several toolbars before just a simple connection to back lights but don't know will this work this time.

    You will need the converter module / CAN BUS wiring kit as the lights are pulse width modulated. DONT try to splice in a conventional loom, it wont work. Module needed to regulate current and prevent BCM from cutting power to rear lights as a fail safe.
    Try Mick's garage, EBAY or similar. I've no doubt somebody on the Youtube would have uploaded a how-to, but they are straight forward enough and some kits come with instructions.
