Buying mobile from Germany

    Hey all,

    Looking at a new phone and seen the phone i wanted on Amazon.de for literally half the price...

    Will there be any issues with the phone working here(in ireland)

    There shouldn’t be. All European spec phones are basically identical. It’s a single market.

    You’ll get a charger with a continental 2 pin plug though. Either swap it for an Irish / UK one or use a simple adaptor.

    This. Bought my last phone from amazon.de no issues. I just use an adapter for the plug and everything works fine.

    ye same - used existing UK Spec one and had a handy one for EU travel.

    Phone was in German language by default, but easy to change!

    I bought a Mi9 on Amazon.de about 12 months ago.
    Came with the two pin plug obviously, but other than that no issues.
    Cheaper too.
