Would it be dodgy using Addresspal to buy a Galaxy S9?

    Hi all

Think I'll be in the market for a new phone soon, have had my S6 for 4 years now. I want to stay with the Galaxys. Is there anywhere that would still sell brand new S9s? Think its safe to say the likes of Carphone Warehouse or Currys would be out of luck? I know they are considered old at this stage but the price of Galaxys like the s20 and even the s10 are just getting beyond ridiculous. Seen theres a few S9s left on Amazon, but not selling to Ireland unfortunately. I have an Addresspal account. Would it be silly to buy one using this service? Are Addresspal prone to losing packages? Thanks.

I find AddressPal excellent, been using the service for several years. They text and email you when your parcel arrives. They've emailed me for verification when the address was insufficient. They've emailed me when the parcel was large and the charge would be expensive, asking me if I wanted to change to home delivery which would be cheaper. They've answered queries quickly and in detail. Just check out from the supplier how returns would work, in case of problems with the phone.

Have you had a look at the European Amazon sites you might find one there with Irish shipping, they can be a lot cheaper too

Failing that you could use Parcel Motel ( presuming they ship to NI) they offer extra insurance for a few euro eg €3.50 for €500 cover

Yes I had a quick look at the .es and .de sites and it looks like they dont have the colour I'd like and memory (125gb cant take anymore photos and its like choosing children which photos to delete or keep on my current phone). Thank you though.

Backup to Google Photos? Or just store them on your computer when your phone fills up?

Can you not use something like google photos that stores your photos up in the cloud and not on your phone memory?
