Removing Polymer Acrylic Floor Finish

    Hi there,
I have an original red and black Quarry Tiled floor in our Georgian home and I am in the process of trying to fully remove the previous finish. I have removed alot of it but there are still alot of patches on the tiles. The previous finish was Aqua Mix Finish which is Acrylic Polymer based. I am trying to remove this using an Alkaline Cleaner? Is that the best stripper to use? I am finding it very very tough. Ideally i'd love a stripper you can brush on and leave and that the previous finishe(s) would simple bubble off or at least come off with a little scrape.

Any help, would be greatly appreciated and links to stippers that might be more suitable for the job?
