Gas vent with covered roof off utility

    Hi Guys, we installed a pergalo in the back of the house this week off the utility. We have a gas boiler vent coming out of the wall of the utility. My question is does this vent need to be extended out of the roof of the pergalo or is there enough ventilation for the fumes to escape when the heating is on? It is fairly well open bar the roof being there. I have attached an image
