Sky Signature Upgrade query

    Hi folks,

    Apologies for raising a thread on this but can't get through to Sky anymore!

    Perhaps someone has done what I am considering doing and could provide feedback?

    I have Sky Entertainment Pack on a Sky HD Box in contract till July/Aug for €35 pm and HD separately for 8 a month, so total of €43 pm

    I think the 35 goes to 40 at end of contract.

    Got the option to upgrade to Signature in my sky offers for 36 pm, 12 month contract. You get box sets as well with this package so makes sense.

    If it allows me to upgrade is there a possibility I get the new package but still get charged as well for the old package as it still has a couple of months to go.
    Be expensive if that happened:)

    My thought would be that if their system was any good, it would either say I was ineligible for the upgrade yet or clearly specify that one replaced the other and that I was in a new contract.

    Just in case anyone's interested, I got the answer to my own question from Sky this morning so I took the package.

    Basically, they put you in a new 12 month contract which supercedes previous one.

    My entertainment package was up in August, so now I am in a contract until 29th April next year on Signature.

    Price now is €44 pm including box sets and HD. Previous price was €43pm but would have gone up by €5 in August and you got no box sets in that.

    Not a bad deal really I guess.
