A friend gave me maincrop potatoe seeds this morning.
I don't have any space to plant them until my garlic is finished.

    Will that be too late?
    I'm in the south west

Last year I planted all my spuds in the 2nd week of may. They were late but fine.

garlic will need to be in the ground for another two months, i suspect. you can plant the spuds, but don't expect a huge harvest.

I planted roosters on 14 June a few years ago and had a late but great crop!

Thanks everyone. I'll just leave them chitting on my window sill until the garlic is done.
They will be going into a raised bed so that will help alot with drainage
