    Hi All,

We currently have Imagine broadband. I am renting a house roughly 300m across the road and wondering if there is such a thing as getting a box to pick up my WiFi there or would I need to go with a totally different WiFi network?

    Hope that makes sense.

There is a way of transmitting wifi, if the house with broadband is 300m from one without, you can buy two nanostations like those https://www.adverts.ie/other-electronics/ubiquiti-150mbps-outdoor-wireless-bridge-kit-up-to-1km/16127883

Those units will have to be setup outside both houses and they should face each other - the less obstructing objects, the better internet quality of broadband will be delivered.

hope this will help a bit
