    Hi All,

I have an Acer R11. For some reason the Acer R11 turns on by itself and drains the battery. I recently done a fresh erase and install and plan to swap out the drive with an SSD in the coming weeks.

Would this be a hardware or Windows 10 / software issue?

if you guys need more info from the machine let me know and I can get it. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sundodger, so finally got around to looking at it, and entered the BIOS the Wake On Lad is [Disabled]. Should I enable it or leave as is?

Ok So I went through various suggestions on the Internet. Like a custom Power Management, turning on and off settings. In the end I wiped it and installed Cloudready Chromuim. Problem still there but a little worse as it will only turn on with power cable.

So I reckon its hardware problem but haven't a bogs notion where to look.
