    Id guess Whimbrel? Feathers look Curlew-like from what I can see, legs short, and lots of Whimbrel moving through the country at the moment!

    Thanks. I am hopeless when it comes to headless corpses and something had a damn good feed here. Perhaps it was a contract killing given that the head was removed but they forgot one leg. :D
