Gaps in-between patio blocks

I washed down the patio driveway last week and it looks great. I've noticed there are gaps in the joints of the bricks were dirt was washed out. I have a bag of builders sand and some cement out in the shed, should I mix them dry and brush it through the joints to fill in the gaps?

Or should I wait until I can go to a DIY store and get a product designed for this?

    Do you mean block paving?

If yes, then do not use builders sand and cement.

You need kiln dried sand and then brush that in.

Did the same here on Saturday. I've the sand in the shed, but was waiting for the drive to dry out entirely... Then it rained.

    Or this weed-free stuff.
    It'll set firm,
You will still get some weeds, but small shallow root ones that can be picked out.
I can't vouch for it standing up to pressure washing though.
