    Hi,

    Anyone any experience of bringing hand tools in checked baggage with Ryanair/Aer Lingus?

    I've a bike (push bike) abroad that I want to upgrade, so it would mean bringing the components change, shifters and the associated tools on a flight.

    None are power tools and none have lithium batteries. Some lithium grease needed (less than 100ml) They range from thinks like pliers to hex tools and wrenchs etc. I don't think there should an issue bringing them, having read the websites;

    Aer Lingus;
    https://www.aerlingus.com/media/pdfs/guide-to-dangerous-goods-2020-2.pdf

    Ryanair;
    https://www.ryanair.com/gb/en/useful-info/baggage/permitted-and-restricted-items

    (BTW Aer Lingus layout excellent in that PDF)
