Hi

My Interceptor Trap in manhole blocks often enough. Is there a job that can be done to fix it? There has been no cap for the rodding eye as long as I lived here (almost 10 years). Could i cover the trap and use a angle grinder to make a route through into the rodding eye and lay pipe right into the rodding eye? Or is this a bad idea for some other reason I don't see? Any other recommended solution?

Attached is pic of the trap just recently cleared. Its 6 feet(1.8m) down
