Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Erratic Fridge Freezer

Our side-by-side fridge freezer is still running erratically, almost two months after the compressor was replaced.
Both sections are working, but there seems to be an almost regular pattern as follows:
It seems to run normally for a day or so, we can hear it running now and then.
Then it starts to run more often for a few days, maybe every other hour for a while.
After that it starts to run almost all the time, so much that we actually notice when it stops.
This is when the fridge side gets very cold, almost freezing items that are in there. The panel behind the water cooler ices up and the water dispenser stops working.
Then, after almost continual running for a day, a pool of water appears at the bottom of the fridge and leaks out when the door is opened.
Finally, that whole cycle starts again. And again etc.
We've received conflicting advice from two local sources, one suggestion is that the control panel is faulty, the other that there was no vacuum created in the gas line prior to re-gassing, possibly allowing an air-lock (?) to float around the line and cause a repeating problem.
Any advice appreciated, our main concern is possible damage to the new compressor due to over-running.
