Read and reread the safety instructions if you go ahead. If your skin gets punctured by a high pressure injury , drop everything and get to ED immediately. I've seen an injury where you couldn't even see the pinhole puncture in the thumb and the guy had 7 ops in following 4 weeks to try to save the arm. Imo, sprayers should have a required safety pass to operate.

In relation to the actual question, I haven't used Wagner but you will still need to backroll on a dash exterior after spraying

Yep have used a heavy pile after spraying many times.Cant seem to source any small sprayer at the moment.Have used all the larger machines but out of my price range at the moment.Due to the terrible time we are going thru at the moment stockist's here are getting it hard to get stuff from the UK.

There is a guy on Done Deal that does Titan sprayers ( American badge for Wagner). He sometimes has ex demo models for sale

Just looking at the spec sheet for that Wagner . Max press is 110 bar. Thats about 1500 at full throttle. I sprayed my own house last week using sandtex at 1800 - 2000. I'd say you will struggle to get paint through that machine and even it it does, you will burn the pump out in no time.

Thought that myself, thanks.Just may bite the bullet and fork out for something more up to spec.Sure a couple of jobs should pay for it.Thats if there are any painting jobs left.Everyone has pretty much done their own places in the last two weeks.Strange times on the way.

The best value I can seem to find is the Graco GX21,including 50 foot hose and delivery, 900 euro.Never used Graco before, usually Titan and an old Honda driven one, relic, but Rock solid.

Want to be careful with the GX21. Its manifold filter is only half the standard size. Exterior paints will block it in no time. You can get an adaptor for it but its about 150 stg as far as I know.

Thanks for all the info. What would you recommend?I would only be doing a couple of houses with pebble per year.Any exterior I usually do is Brush and Roller.Last thing I want to be doing is alot of maintenance on a machine.Spent the last two days stripping down an old petrol power washer but this morning finally have it flying.

There is a page on FB called Spraying Makes Sense. Machines come up every week for sale, normally in good nick. As far as I know, you need to be a member of the group for a good while b4 they will allow you to put something up for sale. Its to ensure that there is no cowboys coming in for a quick sale of a machine that is banjaxed or stolen,

If you are only doing a couple of dash houses, hire a machine and pass the cost onto the client. There is no way you should be supplying the use of a machine, whether it is your own or someone elses's for free anyway.

1,230 for Wagner PP90,will I or won't I.Might be a good investment, alot of farms down my way with shabby looking barns.

Where did you see it at that price? Might be cheaper to get it shipped from UK. Any Crown Decorating centre will have it repaired /serviced for you when needs be.

Crown quoted me 1,255 + VAT.They said they would knock 10% off as well. Managed to get
someone a few days plastering work and in return he will lend me a sprayer. Its also a PP 90 so will see what I think off it and then go from there. What till ya see, weather will probably change now.
