    Hello all,

My mum has recently purchased a Toyota Aygo 2016 model and to my nasty surprise the previous owner has fitted some LED bulbs that are not road legal. Upon checking in the manual I know that the original bulbs are the HIR2 bulbs but they are very hard to get and the choice is limited to some chineese aftermarket parts which I do not want to buy due to obvious reasons. Is it possible to replace them with H11 bulbs? They seem to have the same mounting in the headlight. Could you guys recommend some decent bulbs and where to get them?

They’re also called 9012 bulb. You can easily get Philips/Osram etc online.

H11 is a completely different fitment.

Will be available in your local Motor Factors for sure. Becoming a common bulb these days, used in Insignia's and Hyundai ix35, and probably more too.
