Jaguar 2016 XF, will another engine fit?

A quick question for anybody familiar with Jaguars.

This week the engine in my 2016 XF blew.

    I’ve been offered a 2017 2L diesel 180 Fpace engine and my XF is a 2.0L diesel 180 also.

Would anybody know if they are the same engine?

And if so are the engine mounts the same?

    Thanks in advance ðŸ˜

Check engine code and if the same, you are good to go.
Surely you can reuse your own mounts if you had any issue that way.
All your own engine ancillaries will likely be needed anyway.
