I use them on my .223 and it only chips the paint, doesn't mark the steel at all..

Im sure you could give them an email and find out

I dont know what calibre they are rated for but my 308 wont mark them.
They are 10mm ar500 steel which is what most seem to use so you might get some info of another website.

The stand that came with my gongs wasnt great as the 308 would knock it over so I bought some steel tubes and key clamp fittings from www.proweld.ie and made my own.
    It works great .

I have two new unused evil roy steel targets made by Action Targets who specialize in building indoor ranges in America.
They're made of ar550 (harder again than ar500)
I'm moving to America so if you would be interested in one or two of them send me a pm.

The plates have nothing on the face that can be impacted by the round( no bolts or chains etc) and they are angled down at 20 degrees so as the rounds disintegrate the shrapnel is directed right in front of the target.
They're on a collapsable tripod stand that folds for storage and transport.

I think one is 8x12" rectangle and the other is a 10" circle, they're 3/8" thick. they are rated for 50bmg once they are shot at least 100m.

Pardon my ignorance, but are you allowed to shoot these target on your own land or do you have to shoot them at a range?
