Knocking down solid load bearing wall

    Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to knock down a solid internal wall, most likely load bearing! Between kitchen and dining room. Would also want the single door in the kitchen walled up.

    Engineer to inspect, design and inspect again once steel in place before cover up and certification. Approx €1k.

    Builder to do the work and make good the area. Approx €5k again you make good pint, plastering, flooring, door etc

    OP the underlined piece is important.
    if you don't get it you wont be able to sell without a world of hurt
