I am gonna build a house. Looking for sites for plans or drawings for houses to give me ideas. Give me something to think about till everywhere opens up again thanks

Got that through their website. Youll have to search by map then access the documents (plans)

Don't go near online planning permission. This is the worst way to design a house. You'll end up with something incredibly boring and standard. You'll have zero expectations or aspirations when you start to design your own.

Start looking through good architectural websites like https://www.dezeen.com/architecture/ and from a sustainable point https://passivehouseplus.ie/

Flick through the RIBA House of the year https://www.architecture.com/awards-and-competitions-landing-page/awards/riba-house-of-the-year and not that RTE Home of the year crap where they talk about cushions and rugs.

Don't go near bloggers or people on instagram who think painting a wall is modern design. You need to design the brief, then volume, then space, then wall before you start thinking about paint.

Pay attention to where windows are and why they're positioned where they are and their size and proportion, what areas have taller volumes or lower ceilings, where are change of levels used and why, what rooms are adjacent to others, how privacy is created, how visitors flow compared to inhabitants, how spaces appear at day and night.

If you want a dormer or faux Georgian house then forget the above and just look at previous planning permissions.
