Looking to get roller blinds 220cm wide, 140cm drop , everywhere I look caps out at 180cm in width. Not looking to spend mad money so would rather not made to order if possible.

I got blinds from "blinds to go " a while ago. I got five vertical and one roller all in cream for a rental. Cost me about three hundred and fifty quid but depends what you want.

I got cheap and cheerful blackout blinds in Harry Corrys. Cheaper than anywhere else I looked.

Just ordered off of 247blinds in the uk. They send out free samples (via parcel motel/Wizard), and you can specify any size. Fingers crossed mine arrive soon.

Another vote for blinds2go from me, I got foil lined thermal blinds from them that are fantastic, they have a host of cheaper options too and prior to covid had special offers running really regularly where you could get 10-20% off. You can also enter your measurements on the site and get a quote right away which is really handy if you just want to price blinds.

+1 for blinds 2 go (previously Tuiss)

    -1 for 247 Blinds

My 247blinds arrived yesterday. Look great, and all mounted up. Can't fault them.

Checking out 247curtains now, which seem equally as well priced.

@Graham, what was your negative experience with 247blinds?

They sized recessed roller blinds incorrectly and were absolute s***s about dealing with it.

Back to blinds2go with exactly the same measurements and no problems at all.

    Damn.

I got both recessed and exact measurement blinds off them. My own measurement of the recessed blind was a bit too tight for my liking (the recess is marginally narrower right up at the window vs out the few inches), but I squeezed them in.
Both blinds from them are exactly the measurements I asked for.

Can you guys comment on the quality from the uk/online compared to any local sellers? Not mentioning any names but looking at blinds that friends have bought locally the quality has varied a lot whilst prices weren't cheap. I need 9 blinds and I'm being quoted 1050 to 1200 from 3 local suppliers, but its working out at 550 from 247 blinds, quite a saving to be had but I don't want to pull the trigger to get a smack of them off herself when they arrive!

Get samples off them. Just costs you the parcel motel/Wizard delivery fee.

I got free samples from blinds2go before I pulled the trigger on ordering (I think you can get up to 10 at a time and they have a .ie site so free postage), I thought that faux wood blinds would be practical but I actually hated the look and feel of the samples so went for another type of blind instead.

I was really happy with the quality, I got cellular thermal blinds which have a foil lining and are white on the outside but coloured on the inside I think they look more expensive than they were. The local suppliers I looked at didn't stock that type of blind and I think a lot of companies charge a fortune for installation and I'm happy to install them myself so online made sense for me.
