Hey guy , just wondering if anyone could offer suggestion or advice. I bought a 2016 Jaguar Xe from the main dealer 6 months ago. Got the car washed a few days ago and noticed severe road rash on the passenger side and there is evidence of it on the drivers side too.

Surely this shouldn’t happen Can anyone offer any advice ? Jaguar say they are checking out

Lots of cars have additional protection film there. It's a super popular area for that nature of wear on every car.

I'd have been suspicious that it could have been a bad repair job and poorly adhered paint if it was just on one side, but that's less likely seeing as you have the same damage on both sides.

Wear and tear is all I'd say. Have you looked at other XE's for similar?

Seems to be very common on the xe going by certain jaguar forums. The skills are quite wide
