In the Teagasc pocket manual for reseeding published in 2017, it says Legumex DB, Undersown DB Plus, CoverMax and Underclear are clover friendly and they control moderate levels of docks, thistles and most annual weeds, but underclear is the best of them for chickweed.

The clover safe ones wouldn’t be as good with nettles and I think some of the other weeds above as the non clover safe versions. Reseeding in spring gives better chance for post emergence spray to work because weeds are at better stage for it to be effective than in Autumn.

Some of the newer sheep grazing mixtures contain things like chicory and plantain as well as clover. I don’t know if sprays are safe for them. These mixtures seem to be popular with organic farming.
