    hi

usually every March I go to revenue online > review your tax > select the previous year.

and then amend it to add any health expenses not covered under VHI etc and I
    get 20% of this back.

Have been checking this over the last while and the amend button is not there for 2019. see screen grabs. the amend button is there for 2018.

Any idea why this is so?
Or has this changed and I should do it somewhere else?

You have to go in and do the 2019 return.

How do you mean? There is no ‘amend’ button for 2019.

    Press Request.

    Then do your tax return.

You can't amend a tax return until after you have done it.
