Water leakage

    Hello,

Since a few days now, there has been a leak from either the apartment above me or the one above that one. The water is coming out of a pipe on the outside of the apartment and falling on a metal pipe just above my bedroom making a tick tick sound. Needless to say this is very irritating and doesn't let us sleep at night. My toddler woke up last night complaining about the noise.

I'm not sure how to get this sorted. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Would the management company not fix it. Sounds like the ballcock in water tank may need replacing.

They said its not an emergency situation and that they aren't going inside anyone's apartment at the moment. Pretty annoyed with their reply

Can you put a tea towel of similar on the pipe?

Ya. Trying to do that. But it's too high on the wall
