    Hello!

I'm buying gloves online due to the virus. Difficult to judge without being able to feel the material.

Can anyone recommend a pair of leather gloves for fencing? So thorn proof as much as possible...

    Thanks!

Welding gloves are thick and cheap, with long wrists.. might not be the most flexible

There are sort leather yellow gloves that you see cowboys wearing on you tube. The used to be available in ted Jonson’s in Naas. Not sure if they are still stocked. Very comfortable and durable

I've used these in the past. a number of pairs. maybe the ones i used were not genuine welding gloves despite the claim. the lasted very little time.

cheap suggestion i think is the leather gloves at €1:50 a pair in dealz. even they only last a couple of jobs they are cheap.

My father, lord rest him, had no need for gloves. His hands were as hard as rock. Handled barb wire with great dexterity. I imagine any glove thick enough to protect you would make work cumbersome.
