Hi all, I am looking at the term 'Gross Floor Area' defined under S.I. No. 128/2004. I understand stairwells with double height spaces / voids must be included in calculating the gross floor area. However, does anyone know when you have a Mezzanine closed off from a first floor Landing area, which overlooks a Living Room…

Hi all,

I am looking at the term 'Gross Floor Area' defined under S.I. No. 128/2004.

I understand stairwells with double height spaces / voids must be included in calculating the gross floor area.

However, does anyone know when you have a Mezzanine closed off from a first floor Landing area, which overlooks a Living Room below; does this 'void' count as gross floor area?
