Hi, I heard fuel Allowance will be extended but didn't receive mine for this week.

A double payment was made for my DA last week but only 1 week of FA was given. Any one know what's up?

Ya, I don't know then I was expecting all 4 weeks at once but they missed this week's payment anyway. I assumed they would either have included it was last week which they didn't or send it this week which they didn't. So hopefully it's included with next week and perhaps the following one

The Fuel Allowance scheme would normally operate for 28 weeks for the 2019/2020 period. This year it was due to run from the 30th September 2019 to Friday 10th April 2020.

Extension of Fuel Allowance Due to Covid-19
It was announced on March 31st that the fuel allowance will be extended by 4 weeks to the second week of May. This will be an extra €98 .
We have learnt that the extra payment will be made to all claimants as a lump sum.

For People Who Get Fuel Allowance in 2 Lump Sums
You will get €98 lump sum to cover the extra 4 weeks in your next benefit or pension payment due from April 13th onwards.
    April 13th – Jobseekers & BTWEA
April 16th – One Parent Family, Supplementary Welfare
    22nd April Disability Allowance
    23rd April State Pension Transition , Invalidity,Deserted Wife’s
24th April State Pension, Widows/Widowers, Blind Pension,Death Benefit, Incapacity Supplement
For People Who Got Fuel Allowance Weekly
Some fortnightly payments paid during the week commencing 7th April only contained 1 weeks fuel allowance. So these people will get a lump sum to cover 5 weeks fuel allowance (€122.50) with their next benefit payment.
(This will apply to people on Disability Allowance , Deserted Wifes Allowance, Incapacity Supplement)
All other people on weekly fuel allowance will get €98 lump sum on their next payment date from April 13th onwards. So everyone should have had their fuel allowance by 24th April.
Also be aware that some payments will be made early because of Easter. See here for Easter Payment Arrangements

Why would they get 5 weeks when they're only short by 4 weeks?
Without the extension, only one of the double week payments was with fuel allowance, not both.
