    Looking to buy a 3.5 recovery truck does anybody know which insurance companies insure recovery trucks for private use on b license

    The first question you will be asked is why does a private citizen want a commercial recovery truck?

    I'm assuming you do not have a motor trade policy so the request will send alarm bells oft left, right and centre.

    All you can do is approach some of the large corporate brokers like Aon, Arachas, Willis and hope for the best.

    I'd imagine though you will end up having to go down the declined cases committee route and it will cost you thousands. From an insurers point of view the request has more red flags than a peoples republic of China march.
