I owned barbers and ladies salons for years and can promise you that there is not a barber shop in Ireland or the UK that will recognise this course

I can appreciate that. Was really just posting it up for anyone that might need to give someone a haircut in the coming weeks, might allow them to be slightly better informed.

It'll be useless for that. First off they'll need hairdresser scissors & a razor. There is nothing in the online course that you haven't already seen your barber doing hundreds of times already.

I'd hazard a guess that there are free YouTube videos on the subject totally free of charge.

Why anyone would waste 10 euro on this is beyond me.

That is some price cut! I might be on the fringes here, but that shaves quite a bit off the top price.

I needed to cut my son’s hair. Watched a free YouTube tutorial amd did it with a clipper set from Argos (bought last year). He won’t win any modelling contracts but it looks smart and tidy. No need for a course.

Very true, I'm an ardent fan of the professional siscors cut but did my own with a clippers and length guide,.. I'll go back to my barber eventually but it I was very surprised how well it cut it, still nothing like a scissors cut😀

    Totally agree
Youtube is free. This nonsense course is 10 euro. Youtube is the bargain. This online course is a ripoff at 10 euro & not a bargain. That was my point

At the end of your 10 hours of watching videos you get the opportunity to BUY a certificate. Any course that allows you to buy a certificate regardless of what you learned or didn't learn will never be
    Internationally Recognised-Accredited Beauty Industry Approval
    .

It's a scam. Stay away. Go to Youtube & save your 10 euro in my advice

So maybe the real bargain is, which YouTube videos people above watched that gave them results they are relatively happy with? :)

I have a trimmer I got from amazon and had a go last week. Didn't do too much damage but still ended up with a bit of a bowl effect on the sides :(

yeah id say the edging in with scissors is the hard part to finish it off.

If you mess up you can just shave it all off with a blade 2 or 3, having a shaved head is no big deal these days. I've been shaving mine for nearly 30 years now. I used to cut others when I was young and did a decent job, I just studied what I saw the barbers doing. Just keep checking in the mirror and hold your hand against the back of you head to gauge where the clippers is, its very confusing at first, the whole tilting one way or the other.

Your hair grows at roughly "1 blade" length per week. So if you always wanted to see what a closer cut looks like but a bit worried then if you are stuck inside you could have a go now, a blade 1 will be roughly a blade 4 in 3 weeks time. It can look shocking at first but you get used to it within a couple of days. Dropping a blade size from your usual makes it far easier & faster to cut.

It is worth buy a decent clipper though, crap cheapo ones are horrible to work with.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Got a €20 Tesco cordless clipper and trimmer set doing my grocery shop a few days ago. My 13 year old daughter did the #2, #3, #4 blade on back and sides from the bottom up and then used kitchen scissors to take about 1cm off the top, the way barbers do. Easy peasy. Won't win any beauty contest but job done and a pretty decent one at that. I gave her what I normally pay my barber so she was happy out too :D
