Field pattern for fertilizer spreading

    Its that time of year again for fertilizer spreading .
    Just curious as to lads preferred pattern around the field when spreading .
    I like to go around boundry 3 laps , then go up and down in between .

    Round the boundary making way inwards.

    Round the boundary once and up and down then. Using abbey wagtail with hydraulic shut off

    When i go round most of my fields three or four times that's the field done.
    Round and round the "big field" about ten times.

    Keep going round here as well. Got the contractor in for silage ground and he had about 4 runs up where I'd have gone 9 times I'd say

    Couldn't go around really, have to go up and down and actually have to have the dew to see where I am and use the boundary stakes aswell.

    GPS here is broken and I've been using an app called "Field Navigator" on the phone, and its damn fine...
