TAMS 11 Query

I have been approved for a shed under tams. Looking at the payment claim requirements, one of them is proof of ownership or leasehold on the site. It is in the yard which is still in the fathers name. Do I need to get this transferred or leased to me or will it pass as is?
Secondly, if it needs to be transferred or leased to me, does it have to be done before works are completed or will it do after the works but before you claim?
    Thanks

Did a job on tams 3 years ago and the family farm was leased at the time. Have to send in copy of lease online. Payment was held up because the lease had to have 5 years from the claim date.l has 2 years left on lease. So I hade to get an extension done up by solicitor. Just make sure that it has enough time to cover 5 years from claim

    Thanks Mr Stonewall

Hi grueller. Sorry to drag up an old thread.
I am in the same situation as yourself. Did u have to get solicitor to do up the lease or is there a standard template from the ifa that can be used?

Gruller, were you the only herd number working out of the yard or is your father farming out of the same yard with a different herd number? I could do with putting up a shed, I would be putting it up in my father in laws yard but not sure if you could get the grant if there would be two herd numbers in the one yard then. Other option might be to get the father in law to apply for the 40% grant (if still available later this year) and I could just sort out some sort out the balance with him then
