Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

how long to get proceeds from house sale

hi just wondering how long it took people to get the proceeds of a house sale from their solicitors? we sold our house and got the keys to our new one on 27th march. after all the fees etc there is a small amount due back to us but have received no communication at all. last interaction we had was a phone call on the day…

hi
just wondering how long it took people to get the proceeds of a house sale from their solicitors?
we sold our house and got the keys to our new one on 27th march.
after all the fees etc there is a small amount due back to us but have received no communication at all.
last interaction we had was a phone call on the day of the sale to say we could go collect our keys.
have tried emailing x 3 times (rang them also) but no response to date.
I expect COVID is causing delays too, but wondered how long other people had to wait.

given the short space of time, there may well be some further charges before everything is finished. There would still be land registry to sort out and likely issues with the bank.
