Water On also heats rads

Have a Nest learning thermostat. Did an extension a few months ago which included piping in 5 new rads. Our oil has gone very quickly since then and I noticed today that when the Nest heats our water (we have it scheduled 4-4.30pm) each day that the rads in the extension also heat up. The rads in the original part of the house do not turn on correctly. Any ideas what could cause this? The Nest just shows that the water should be heating. The Sunvic SZ 2401 actuators/motorised valves has the red light on for water which is correct but the other Sunvic SZ 2401 actuator is not lit up for the heat meaning no heat should be on.

Fairly sure we have an S plan system if that makes a difference!

Are the rads getting red hot or just luke warm. Is the new system a seperate pump to old system. If so the thermostat to turn it on may be switching on from a heat source to do with the water heating

I am not familiar with what a nest is

Nest Learning Thermostat. It's just a thermostat you can control via an App basically and is meant to learn how you use your heating and save you money long term.

Anyways, it's the same pump for the new system and the Rads in the extension get really hot. Any ideas?

Sorry for delay in replying. No it's the same level. Well technically it's about 18-24 inches lower than upstairs in original house.
