    Hi all

We have a lot of old photo slides that I want to convert to digital on the PC.

Can anyone recommend a good scanner for this? We previously had the cheap lidl scanner but the quality wasn't very good

    Many thanks

I have an Epson v500 photo. There is a current equivalent, maybe the v600 or something along those lines.
It has a transparency adapter and holders for negatives and slides.
It does a pretty good job.
    It's not fast.
I also have third-party software called Silverfast, but it's not necessary to get good results. (It can give even better results with multi-pass scans etc...)

This type of flatbed is a lot less expensive than a good dedicated film scanner like a Nikon CoolScan.
