NCT 4 Months CVRT 3 Months.

    taken from cvrt.ie
The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 were signed
by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport on 20 April 2020 and come into effect immediately.
These new measures recognise that commercial vehicle owners have not been able to undertake vehicle
tests because of the suspension of commercial vehicle roadworthiness (CVR) testing from 28 March
2020 and are part of the State’s coordinated response to the COVID-19 virus. In summary, the effect of
these measures is to extend the test due dates by 3 months for commercial vehicles due a CVR test on
    or after 28 March 2020.
Any queries concerning the revision to CVR test due dates that are not covered in this document, can
    be sent to cvrtadmin@rsa.ie

    Taken from rsa.ie

NCT – vehicles with a test that was or will be due on or after 28 March 2020 have that test date extended by 4 months
Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests (CVRT) – vehicles with a test that was or will be due on or after 28 March have that test date extended by 3 months

    Hah!
Again the beloved RSA shows it has no recognition that motor caravans are a seperate entity and are NOT commercial vehicles operated commercial vehicle owners.
We know by now that we are just lumped in with commercial vehicles for the RSA's own convenience but it would be nice if somewhere along the line they did recognise that we are, under EU testing regulations, not in a commercial vehicle test category.
It also begs the question. Not being commercial vehicles in law, do the provisions of The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 legally apply to motor caravans.
