Any hardware or garden centre actually opening this weekend?

It seems that legally they can, but are any? I rang my local (south Co. Dublin) Woodies and they're all closed. I'm looking for wall paint and some garden stuff, if they are. Confusion as new laws allow garden centres and hardware shops to reopen

They aren't allowed to open. Having said that the hardware in Donaghmede still hasn't closed. They are ignoring the recommendations.

Edit: "Senator Michael McDowell, a former tánaiste and attorney general, said there is “now a doubt about whether retail businesses for gardening and hardware purposes” can open."

You have to remember that the Gardai didn't have the power to close any business for the last two weeks yet they had to close. The new legislation gives them power to close certain businesses.
