PVC Window Sealant

Hi Folks, see attached two pix of my PVC windows.

First one shows an upstairs window aginst the brick work where the original sealant that was installed has fallen away from between the brick work and the edge of the plastic. I have temporarily put in some fresh silicone. I'd prefer to get it done right. What is the right sealant to use here between the brick and the PVC.

Picture two is of the same window and shows moss growth between the bottom of the PVC window and the PVC window ledge (itself badly contaminated with lichen). Clearly I need to get rid of the moss, but there is an obvious gap there of about 3 or 4mm the whole width of the window (about 2 meters) - should this gap also be filled and if so, but what?

Windows are about 15 years old.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
